Happy Canada Day!
What do you mean it's only March!? Whatever! Made this poster as my final project for my Media Arts class. Took me quite some time and I am very happy with the colours. I especially liked how the Olympic Rings turned out. This was also an entry for a contest for Canada posters. The theme was 'With Glowing Hearts' (a line in our National Anthem for those of you that don't know). I couldn't use words and we had to integrate the Olympics and sports a great deal as the winter Olympics are being held in Vancouver in 2010. Finished this back in January but the deadline for the contest was late February so I thought I would play it safe and wait to post it. Enjoy! Done in Illustrator CS3 and Ps CS3. The Olympic Symbols, including the Rings, the torch, and the mascots do not belong to me. |
